English: 4 credits (comprehensive regents exam)
Math: 3 credits (math A regents and Math B regents exam)
Social Studies: 4 credits (global studies 2 regents and US History
Regents)
Science: 3 credits (including Living Environment and Earth Science,
regents exams in both)
Art/Music: 1 credit
Health: 1/2 credit
**Language: 3 credits (regents exam)
or a 5-credit sequence in Art or Music
PE: 2 credits
Electives: 4.5 credits
*For an Advanced Regents Diploma, a 65% in all five areas as
well as a Foreign Language** Regents, Math B Regents, and a second Science
Regents are required.
*90% on all regents exams earns an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors

Minimum
Graduation Requirements:
To qualify for graduation all students who entered 9th
grade by September 2004 must pass the exams as outlined below with a 55%
for a local high school diploma. For a Regents diploma, students must
obtain 65% or better on Regents in all 5 areas.
· Regents Exam in Comprehensive English
· Regents Exam in Math A or Integrated Algebra
· Regents Exam in Global History and Geography
· Regents Exam in U.S. History and Government
· Regents Exam in One Science
